Everyday at Play was a toddler line and store that three friends, Natasha Hahn, Yafen Fontaine, Rachel Handwerker, and I took through the production process to learn exactly how to design, market and sell an apparel line.  We wanted our line to not only have a unique look but also a unique environmental approach to business.
As a company, Everyday at Play wanted to promote local businesses especially those that also practice with a similar environmental dedication.  We decided that our line was to be comprised of only 100% organic cotton, making our product more sustainable.  We were able to find organic cotton that was grown and produced here in the USA, making our product made in the USA from start to finish.
We took sustainability into every aspect of our concept that was possible: furniture in the store, reusable shopping bag, etc.  But more than anything we wanted to give our clients a product that was completely usable.  So we came up with two great reusable tags-a bib for two year olds and a sack of used/recycled toys for the three and four year olds.
